3 Ways to Cook Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Gnocchi

Important Note: Regardless of the chosen cooking method, it’s best NOT to follow the package instructions. These often lead to mushy gnocchi.


  • 1 bag Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Gnocchi (frozen)
  • Olive oil or cooking spray
  • Seasonings of choice: Salt, pepper, garlic powder, Italian herbs, etc.
  • Optional additions: Butter, garlic, marinara sauce, vegetables, protein


  • Large skillet
  • Baking Sheet
  • Air fryer

Method 1: Pan-Fried Crispy Gnocchi

  • Heat skillet: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a thin layer of olive oil or spray with cooking spray.
  • Add gnocchi: Carefully add the frozen gnocchi to the hot skillet in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
  • Cook undisturbed: Let the gnocchi cook without stirring for 3-4 minutes, or until a golden brown crust has formed.
