Boston Market Turkey Breast Recipe

Yields: 4-6 servings
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 1 – 1.5 hours (depending on size of turkey breast)

  • 1 bone-in turkey breast: Approximately 3-4 pounds
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Make the herb rub: In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, thyme, rosemary, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  • Prep the turkey: Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. Gently lift the skin of the turkey breast and rub some of the seasoning mixture underneath for extra flavor. Rub the remaining mixture all over the outside of the turkey.
  • Roast: Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan. Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the breast. Roast until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). This should take about 1 – 1.5 hours depending on the size of your breast.
  • Baste (optional): For extra moistness, you can baste the turkey with its own juices a couple of times during cooking.
  • Rest: Once the turkey has reached the correct temperature, remove it from the oven, tent it with foil, and let rest for 10-15 minutes before carving and serving.

  • Brining: For a super juicy turkey breast, consider brining it overnight in a solution of water, salt, and sugar.
  • For boneless breast: If using a boneless turkey breast, reduce the cooking time accordingly.
  • Gravy: Collect the pan drippings to create a delicious homemade gravy.

Enjoy! Serve with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes, stuffing, and cranberry sauce for a Boston Market-inspired meal.
