Buffalo Chicken BLAT Wraps Recipe

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts or tenders
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Buffalo Sauce

  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (Frank’s RedHot is a classic choice)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Wraps and Fillings

  • 4 large flour tortillas (or your preferred wrap)
  • 6-8 romaine lettuce leaves
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing for drizzling (optional)


1. Cook the Chicken

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat chicken dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken.
  • Place chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C).
  • Let chicken rest for 5 minutes, then shred with two forks or chop into bite-sized pieces.

2. Make the Buffalo Sauce

  • While chicken is cooking, combine hot sauce, melted butter, and Worcestershire sauce in a small saucepan. Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, until warmed through.

3. Assemble the Wraps

  • Toss the shredded chicken with the buffalo sauce.
  • Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave for a few seconds for flexibility.
  • On each tortilla, layer romaine lettuce, buffalo chicken, tomato slices, avocado slices, bacon crumbles, and a sprinkle of blue cheese (if using).
  • Drizzle with ranch or blue cheese dressing if desired.
  • Roll the wraps tightly and cut in half if desired.
