Chambord Margarita Recipe

  • 2 ounces tequila: Use a good quality blanco or silver tequila for the best flavor.
  • 1 ounce Chambord raspberry liqueur: This adds a sweet and fruity dimension.
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice: Freshly squeezed is crucial for a bright, zesty margarita.
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup: Or adjust to your taste preference.
  • Lime wedge and coarse salt (for rimming the glass)
  • Ice

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Margarita glass (or any glass of your choice)
  • Citrus juicer (optional)

1. Prepare the Glass

  • Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your margarita glass.
  • Dip the rim into a shallow dish of coarse salt.

2. Make the Margarita

  • Fill your cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add tequila, Chambord, lime juice, and simple syrup to the shaker.
  • Shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds, until the mixture is well chilled and combined.
  • Strain the margarita into your prepared glass.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge or fresh raspberries (optional).

Make it a frozen margarita: Blend all ingredients with a cup of ice in a blender until smooth.

Customize your sweetness: Adjust the amount of simple syrup to your liking. If you don’t have simple syrup, substitute with agave nectar.

Try a spicy twist: Muddle a few slices of jalapeño with the simple syrup before adding it to the shaker.

Large batch: Easily scale up the quantities for a pitcher for a party.

Enjoy your refreshing Chambord Margarita!
