  • 1 bottle (750ml) sweet white wine (Riesling or Moscato are good choices)
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 4 kiwi, peeled and sliced
  • 1 pomegranate, seeded
  • 1 bottle (750ml) Brut Champagne or sparkling wine
  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice
  • Ice

1. Prepare the fruit: In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine the sliced orange, kiwi slices, and pomegranate arils.

2. Add the wine: Pour the bottle of sweet white wine into the pitcher with the fruit.

3. Macerate the fruit: Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to 24 hours. This allows the fruit to infuse the wine with flavor.

4. Assemble the punch: Just before serving, add the orange juice and ice to the pitcher. Gently stir to combine.

5. Top with champagne: Slowly add the champagne or sparkling wine to the pitcher, stirring gently. Be careful not to over stir, as you want to keep the punch bubbly.

6. Serve: Garnish the punch with additional orange slices or kiwi slices, if desired. Serve immediately in punch glasses or champagne flutes.

– For a non-alcoholic version of this punch, substitute sparkling grape juice or club soda for the champagne.

– If you don’t have any pomegranate seeds, you can substitute 1/2 cup of fresh raspberries or blueberries.

– You can adjust the amount of fruit and juice to your taste.

– For a stronger punch, add more white wine or champagne.

– Be sure to use chilled champagne or sparkling wine, as this will help to keep the punch cold.
