Easy Roasted Pork Tenderloin Recipe

Yields: 4-6 servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 25-35 minutes

  • 2 Pork Tenderloins (about 1 to 1.5 lbs each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional, can be regular or smoked)

  • Baking sheet or roasting pan
  • Small bowl for mixing spices

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
  • Prepare the Pork: Trim the pork tenderloins of any excess fat or silverskin (the thin, tough membrane). Pat them dry with paper towels.
  • Combine Spices: In a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, garlic powder, dried thyme, and paprika (if using).
  • Season the Pork: Rub the olive oil all over the pork tenderloins. Evenly coat the pork with the spice mixture.
  • Roast: Place the pork tenderloins on a baking sheet or roasting pan. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-35 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the meat registers 145 degrees Fahrenheit (63 degrees Celsius).
  • Rest: Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in tender and flavorful meat.
  • Slice and Serve: Slice the pork tenderloin into thick medallions and serve with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a salad.

  • Don’t overcook: Pork tenderloin can dry out quickly. Use the thermometer for the most accurate way to tell if it’s done.
  • Add a glaze: During the last 10 minutes of roasting, try brushing on a simple glaze like BBQ sauce, honey mustard, or maple syrup for extra flavor.
  • Flavor variations: Get creative! Experiment with different spice combinations to find your favorites.

Enjoy your perfectly cooked, easy roasted pork tenderloin!
