Secretly Healthy Cherry Peach Smoothies Recipe

Yields: 2 servings
Prep time: 5 minutes
Blend time: 1-2 minutes

  • 1 cup frozen sweet cherries (pitted)
  • 1 cup frozen peach slices
  • 1 (6 oz) container peach or black cherry Greek yogurt
  • 1-2 cups fresh baby spinach
  • 1/2 cup milk (almond milk, regular milk, or any milk alternative)
  • Optional: 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness (adjust to taste)

The Secret Ingredient

  • The baby spinach! You won’t taste it, but it adds a great nutritional boost.

1. Combine ingredients: Add the yogurt, cherries, peaches, spinach, and milk to your blender. If using, add your chosen sweetener.

2. Blend: Blend everything until completely smooth and creamy. If it’s too thick, you can add a splash more milk to reach your desired consistency.

3. Taste and adjust: Give your smoothie a taste test. Add a bit more honey/maple syrup if needed.

4. Serve and enjoy: Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately!

Make-ahead: If you want to prepare these in advance, blend your smoothies without the spinach. Store in the fridge. When ready to drink, add the spinach and blend again.

Fresh vs. frozen fruit: You can use fresh fruit, but frozen works better for a thicker, ice-cream-like smoothie.

Add-ins: Get creative! Try a scoop of protein powder, chia seeds, or a bit of rolled oats for even more nutritional value.
