Sweet Tea Vodka Lemonade Mojitos Recipe

Yields: 2 large servings
Prep time: 10 minutes

  • 1 cup freshly brewed sweet tea (chilled)
  • 4 oz sweet tea vodka (brands like Firefly or Jeremiah Weed)
  • 1 cup lemonade (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/2 cup club soda
  • 1 large lemon, cut into wedges
  • 12-15 fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
  • Ice

Equipment and Utensils

  • Cocktail muddler
  • 2 large glasses (mason jars work great too!)
  • Optional: Cocktail shaker

1. Muddle the flavors: Divide the lemon wedges and mint leaves evenly between the two glasses. Use your muddler to gently crush the mint and lemon in the bottom of each glass. This releases their essential oils and juices.

2. Sweeten and spike: Add 2 oz of sweet tea vodka to each glass.

3. A touch of tart: Pour in 1/2 cup of lemonade into each glass.

4. Chill and top: Fill the glasses with ice. Top off with club soda for a little fizz.

5. Stir and garnish: Give each drink a good stir to combine the flavors. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and an extra lemon wedge if desired.

Tips and Variations

Sweetness: Adjust the sweetness by using less sweet tea or slightly more lemonade depending on your preference.

Make-ahead: Prepare the muddled mint and lemon base with the vodka and lemonade ahead of time and store in the fridge. When ready to serve, just add ice and club soda.

Light Rum: For an extra layer, consider adding 1 oz of light rum to each glass along with the sweet tea vodka.

Flavor blast: Get creative! Try muddling a few fresh berries like raspberries or strawberries with the mint and lemon for a fun twist.
